Reverse cut off?

When I put the car in reverse it drops idle and cuts off!! Wtf is going on?

Assuming your a auto? Sounds like your tranny is on its way out.

That's what I was thinking but I had a vacuum leak that I just fixed the other day and it still idles at 500 and just tonight I put it in park and it was fine drive was fine and neutral was fine but reverse killed it so before I begin looking at trannies could it be something else like the iac valve
