Quick Question! about MAC headers

I need to know if MAC Long tube headers require special gaskets for a DOHC vs a SOHC.? Or can i use stock oem exhaust gaskets for both styles?? Thanks!!

You always want to get new gaskets/hardware .. Unless you want to have a leak in the near future

When I got my long tubes I purchased some hi dollar Percy gaskets but the shop that installed them said the oem ford ones would w just fine. Haven't had an issue in 10k miles. But the ones pacesetter sent with he headers were absolute trash

I've got Mac Longtubes. You can use the OEM gaskets for them. Just make sure to get new ones. I wouldn't re-use your existing ones. Trust me, any maintenance on longtubes on a 4.6 is literally a pain in the butt, and having to go back a replace them later will be quadruple the work.
