Bullitt pedals install

How would one go about taking off the gas pedal? I already installed the dead, clutch, and brake pedal. I took off the 2 bolts from the gas pedal and the clip behind it. But the gas pedal is still hanging from the cable. How would I take it off the cable?

Thanks!

Cable slips out.. I think it has a little rubber piece that comes out with it..it's a pain just cuZ it's way up there. Pull it straight up if I remember right easier when one bolt is still in.

That's how it looks for now. I still have to put the pin all the way through on the Gas Pedal. I only put it half way through. PITA. Still figuring out how to take the Pedal off.

Need a vice..I also sanded the pin down some but not a whole lot. Took probably an hour or so to do, when I figured it was a 10 minute job.

How would I go about using the vice? Do I just use it to hold it in place while I hammer the pin back in?
