Time to look into it. Won't be able to get them until at least this summer.

The trick alot of people don't realize is that Ford and tool trucks have a wedge that makes it a whole lot easier , you take the wedge and jam it on the timing chain so you don't have to remove the chains .. All you have to do it put the wedge & unbolt the Camshafts and etc.

Unfortunately you can't do that on 4Vs ..

There are videos on how to do it. The bigger issue is getting the tune right after you do the cams.

Like getting it tuned right. Or right after? Because i could get it tuned relatively easy after just have to trailer it.

But i'd rather do full bolts on and some suspension before i tear into the motor

Cams and heads should always be the last bolt ons , just enjoy your ride with simple bolt ons

You should be doing all the bolt ons first anyway.

You have to remove the chains

2V all you do is remove cams
What about 3V?

I am thinking about the FRPP "HotRod" Cams, to put on my 3V GT. What do ya'll think of those?
