Headers!!! Help!!!

Hey every has anyone done long tubes on their 2v them selves? I know they are a pain but is it doable in a drive way I know my way around a mustang but I have only heard nightmare stories

I did. I put some Mac longtubes on with nothing but a jack and hand tools. Took me 11 hours straight to compelete. Definitely will NEVER do it like that again.

Did it on my old 2v. Took about 6 hours but freaking pypes was horrible fitment so I had to take em off

Drop your K memeber. There Is no easy way around that. Jack the motor up as high as you can to give you as much clearence as possible to go in from underneath. Have plenty of patience, and plenty of anti seize for the manifold bolts. Lol

But I should remind you it took me 11 hours to do it by myself lol

You most likely need a block of wood or two to get the motor up high enough( I did anyway) just jack real slow . You might have to remove the starter . I did but I put BBK shorty tuned equal length headers on . I also had bend one of my wrenches and grind the box side down . What a pita !!!!!! It does take a while plan on a whooooole day!!!!!!!!

Definitely use a block of wood when jacking the engine up. Otherwise you will damage yout oil pan.
