Wanting some insight

So I know there's already countless amounts of heads/cams threads. But none appeal to me, so I'm starting a new one lol

I've got an 03 GT with the following done (performance wise):

Mach shaker system
JLT RAI
BBK LTs
BBK o/r h pipe
Flow 10s and flow tips (catback I assume)
Aftermarket racing clutch
Short throw
3.55 gears
Bama strategy tune

I'm wanting to start looking into cams for my next mod and just wanted to see what you guys thought. Comp 270s are what I was going to start looking into... Opinions? And if my mods currently aren't enough to support cams, what else would I need to properly run with 270s?

I think mod wise your there. I mean there's always extra stuff to add which will maximize the cams like pullies and a throttle body plenum combo but with some gears a tuner and full exhaust hell with it lol. As for cams I don't have any but I def like the sound of the 270s. Just make sure they are degreed, bee hive springs and adjustable cam gears and u should be all set. O and u will need a tune

But basically if I want to do cams right now, I could and wouldn't NEED the tb/plenum, MAF, 24lb injectors etc?

Just trying to get an idea of what I must have so i can start totaling it up

Comp cams are more sound than power ,

Better to get the plenum and tb now than later

Hitech stage 2s. I still vote supercharger over camming a stock longblock though. Similar money, ridiculously better results.
