How can a 2v beat an ls1?

Specifically a z28. I'm guessing lightly modded. Supposedly this dude spent like 1k bucks on some headers lol

I already know f/I. I'm thinking bout adding a procharger or possibly Paxton in my cars future.

Mods in sig. Don't know if he auto or stick.
I'm auto n am installing 4.10 gears soon

I'm just tired of all the ls1 *** kissing lol
I know they're good motors and all but I wanna prove 2valves should be taken seriously!

I'm on app so can't see you're mods. But you will need a bit of mods. Nitrous will be the cheapest way.

LS1s rape the 2v, you will need a decent amount of mods to beat one.

Even with boost on a 2v. a full bolton ls1 with rape it. You will need more than 10 psi. Bc the 2vs suck making power with low boost. So built motor heads/cams

I dunno can he drive? What sort of suspension setup? Its not all about power and I have personally taken more than a few cars that are making way more power than my little bolt on 2V (or the 5.0 Cobra when I had it) by hooking up really good off the line and watching them panic and blow the tires off in 1st/2nd gear.

As for what it takes... it takes money. And he who spends the most goes the fastest. LS1s are great motors, they are not the end all be all but they are probably in the top 5 motors out there that the common man can afford as far as modifications go.

I've beat an ls1 swapped Datsun in the low end from 60 foot too 330 foot then he passed me at the 1/8 mile. Those LS engines have better top end considering he had full exhaust and weight like 2500 pounds in the car.

---------- Post added at 10:55 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:53 AM ----------

I've beat plenty of ss and ls1's! just those two ls1 and ls2 swapped Datsun's almost had the ls1!

No matter how good your 2V gets him off the start, he's going to walk you down.. It's just a matter of time . Sorry but it's the truth

Yeah I understand ls1s are sick. But I think stang owners give em too much credit.

Have u seen those LSx forums? They're ruthless against any stang owner but they come on here n We just give up on our 4.6 right away.

I'm doubting the facts at all, I just want to turn my car into an LSx smasher lol

And from what I understand, a supercharger w/ supporting mods, and suspension work will do this?

Will a novi 2000 accomplish this or should I go procharger route?

Sub connectors, LCA on my build list already

N I like kenne bell but I want a s/c that will go well with my new gears

---------- Post added at 10:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:57 AM ----------

I'm *not doubting

How do these 2v respond to nitrous?

75 shot? 100 shot? Possibly 150?

How much can stock internals take?
Isn't it only like 600 bucks for a zed wet kit or an NX kit?

Anything under 100 would be pointless. I think anywhere from 100-150 because i think 150 is max but im not too sure.

Yea but you will need a tune, and all the safety control stuff for it.

Yeah I know about the window switch and all that stuff.
I'm asking how if my car can take it.

Never messed or driven with n20 but I'm def not opposed to the idea.

I'm guessing spraying n refilling bottles is hella cheaper than f/I.

What supporting mods do u need for spray?
I just know window switch, different spark plugs, and a custom tune.

Will I need to do the rest of my exhaust? (H-pipe n headers)?

I thought 100 shot was supposed to be 100hp. N 125 shot is 125hp n so on.

So if my bolt on car is ~250-260rwhp does that mean a 100 shot will put me at 360? 125 shot at 385?

Or is that not how it works?
Will this actually keep up with a modded ls1?

I thought 150 was max on internals. Nitrous in cheaper than FI until you start having to refill the bottle every week. Around $30 refill.
