Mark VIII 4.6 32v swap or try and build my 96 4.6 2v?

How hard is this swap? Who has done it before? What kind of power were you able to get? I know the mark VIII will put down a lot more power but I don't want to tear into it and have a huge headache.

In the stickies section there is a 2V to 4V swap thread detailing the process 32VNomad went through to install one in his car.
