Missing

To late to mess with my car but what i wanna know is why my car is misfiring. My car is misfiring at idle a little and misfires more when I hold it at a higher rpm. I checked my coils to see if they were tight a few were a little loose but didn't seem like it would cause it to miss, but ik my front 02 sensors are unplugged from the previous owner not sure about the rear 02.. But could that be why it is missing?

the front o2 sensors help your vehicle decide air/fuel mixture along with a few other sensors...if they are unplugged your vehicle will run like crap. been there done that on my '04 GT...when i put my prochamber on it i forgot to plug in my passenger side upstream and well...no CEL, but dang did it suck driving. Plugged it in and problem was solved.

Ok I hope that's what's going on with me. My car isn't hesitating or running like crap or anything else it just sounds like its missing.

No. The rears just tell you if the cats are working or not. I would know, mine are unplugged. This should throw a CEL though, so I would be worried why the light isn't on. Maybe burnt out? I would scan it to see if there are any codes.

I already scanned no codes for the missing. Just from my egr delete.

My codes are p1000 (obd systems readiness test not complete)
P0406 (egr)
P0403 (egr)
I'm guessing the p1000 is because of the egr.

Should I just take it to ford and do a diagnostic test on the car? I heard for 90$ they can, and tell you what all sensors are bad and which ones are about to go bad.

We'll I took my car too ford, they ran a diagnostic test and said my car is all good no problems, no bad sensors or anything. Guess it's just a normal thing for mustangs.? On the bright side they said they wouldn't charge 90$ and they fixed my window defroster, and cleared my CEL's from my egr delete.
