New items for the Stang

Just ordered a stage 2 exedy clutch from AM along with a ford racing performance TOB and Pilot bearing so i cant wait to put that in. I'm also getting a hold on some 04 pi heads, port and polished for 500$! Anything to look out for on both those when i do my install? Specifically because the clutch is brand new? Or just put it in and break it in for a few hundred miles?!

If he was going to scrap them why do you want them? Are you SURE they are properly done and not some yahoo with a die grinder or something? At any rate something seems very fishy for fully PP'd heads for $500. If you do wind up getting them I'd take them to a professional head guy and see what he thinks. Back in the day I learned the hard way from a professional porter to not ever buy ported heads from a dude who did them on the side... And this guy was supposed to be legit too. Never will make that mistake again.

He's a family friend of my buddy whos helping me rebuild my engine. He owns his one shop in Mississippi or something and he was getting rid of them because he's had them for Years thinking he was going to put them on his mustang but ended up getting a new mustang. He's going to port and polish them and the only reason Why I'm getting them so cheap is because I'm going through my friend. I guarantee this guy wouldn't give me iffy parts so I'm definitely going to take him up on the offer. Thanks for the interest though! I'm careful when it's someone i dont know but this guys good!
