Well got my car back and we test drove it but was making a noise so I had to leave it over night, getting her tomorrow afternoon

What kind of noise? Was it installed poorly?

Sounds like gears weren't installed correctly ,

Said he re-used the old shims , and was going to install the new ones tomorrow.

I literally watched them do it , the install went smooth and quick.

If you drove the car further than out of the driveway of that shop, with an incorrect backlash, the gears are more than likely ruined. Slow...

Well not my problem , they will have to replace them if they are messed up.
