exhaust manifold

whats the best way to view your exhaust manifold, I tried with the hood open and also crawling under the car and I cant see ****, so cramped in there. looking for a leak

There is no real great way but the best way is from underneath either on a hoist or on jack stands so you can get completely under the car

buy headers uninstall/inspect manifolds & regardless of outcome install headers

Why? You won't gain anything with shorties over the stock manifolds. The mod motor manifolds are not restrictive like the garbage stock headers on the 5.0 pushrods.
