2V to 4V swap

I got a buddy who blew his 2V up
So he bought a longblock and transmission out of a higher mileage 99 cobra

Is it exactly a simple drop in or will he run into problems

The Google, she knows much. There is a big thread on moddedmustangs IIRC about dropping in a 4V. Its 90% plug and play and the rest isn't very hard.

Its not a huge deal whatever year it is. Might have issues if its a 96-98 dealing with some of the wiring though.

32VNomad's write up is the best guide I've read. I'm almost finished with my 4V swap . I didn't have any wiring issues there are a few that had to be extended. But that was it.
