New GT Owner

Hello all, I just recently purchased a 2000 GT and I am going to get an exhaust for it soon. I am going to keep the stock H pipe, for now, due to California's ridiculous smog restrictions. I am either going to get loudmouth 1 mufflers or Flowmaster 10 series mufflers, still deciding which is better, and put them in place of the stock mufflers. I like loud by the way haha. I was just curious if any of you guys know if you can pass smog in California without tail pipes? I was thinking about ending the exhaust at the mufflers, depending on how it sounds. If it won't pass smog without tail pipes I will just use some 4" tips. Keep in mind I am brand new to "newer" cars haha because I have been using a 1969 mustang as my daily driver for 6 years (my first far).

Yea I will probably just do that haha. How loud do you think the car would be with the stock h pipe and loudmouth 1's or flowmaster 10 series mufflers with no tail pipes?
