automatc shift kit

is buying a shift kit for an automatic worth it or would a tuner be doing the same thing

A J-mod would be better for your transmission than a shift kit will. A tuner can firm up shift points and change shift pressure.

About $60 and you DIY. Look up "j-mod tccoa" on youtube. 20 minute video. If you buy a shift kit for it you are completely wasting your money. Also transgo=failgo.

just watched a very detailed video on it, and altho I understand the process I can be honest and say I don't feel comfortable doing it. would a transmission shop know what im talking about and would how many hours would they most likely charge or how much would this cost me

I don't think a shift kit is a waste of money.i love mine but you would have to rebuild tranny if you decide to do it
