Well one of the ways to turn off cruise is the clutch switch. Check too see if it is pressed or tripped.

Gotta be your clutch switch. Unless you bumped the cruise motor/cable somehow if you were in the engine bay messing with the clutch cable at all.

Under the dash right by the pedal. There should be a linkage going right to it.

They say you associate words and phrases by the first and last letters no matter what it actually says. Like the brand FCUK (French Connection UK) for example.

Either that or his anus is the diameter of an orange... Could be handy for smuggling drugs.

New clutch by chance? You should have very little, if any air gap between the tob and pp.

I'm surprised your TOB squeaks. Did you tighten the PP bolts enough?

Is the cable tight or is there a little play at the top of the pedal

When you say "play" is that where the clutch feels floppy at the top. I just had my clutch replaced as well and it has this, it is maybe half an inch of floppy.

Yeah it's the distance between your cable has to pull before contact with the PP

This^^
Reason I ask is if the pressure plate bolts aren't tight enough, it's fingers dont extend enough and the cable requires extreme over-adjustment to disengage the clutch at all. Obviously disengagement occurs RIGHT off the floor when this happens, so I wanted that ruled out.. going forward, I'm not so sure about the low pedal right now.

No my play is before the TOB even touches the fingers

Typically how it's supposed to be. I wouldn't think there's any issue there. Just strange that it engages close to the floor. That's atypical for a new cable clutch.
