Turbo time

Previously I had mentioned doing a eaton swap but the guy keeps stalling on me so my new goal is turbo, everyone here in town is really getting fast.. I'm talking about 10sec cars on the road racing , streets and strip. Mach 1 isn't doing good anymore ,

Does anyone recommend a turbo company that sells a good kit for 99-04 mustangs ?

I know On3Performance is very reasonable , but heard fitment is a issue , how about Hellion? I know they are pricey but I'm willing to save.

Any input ? Thanks

Also questions about my engine I know it's high compression, could that be a downfall going turbo?
I know I'll have to get lower gears Aswell.

I have 100k on odo but previous owner replaced engine @ 60k with a 30k engine , and got it dyno tuned.

I'd go with a simple S trim seeing as you already have 4.10s and are a stick. Turbos prefer automatics honestly and you can do a S-trim for cheaper than even the On3 kit. Also you are limited to around 400whp with your stock internals so 10s will be hard.

If you are set on a turbo kit, On3 is fine. Most issues are user error or people who are too damn cheap to spend an extra $100 on quality V band clamps. Fit is fine. Hellion will be the best but plenty of guys making huger power on the 0n3 stuff.

You could also just start piecing together a terminator Eaton setup from various forum classifieds if you still want to go eaton.

Vortech is good, guy from pro dyno making 470 on stock internals on a gt. Cheaper and better than on3 imo

That's why I suggested a Vortech. Cheap, quality is second to none and his 4V will rev like a mofo and he has 4.10s AND hes a stick shift so its a perfect match for a S trim. Would NOT recommend running at 470hp but a 400-425whp Mach will run pretty damn fast 1/4 mile times. Maybe not 10s but definitely 11s if he's a good driver.

If you buy the kit you are a sucker. You can piece together a kit for $1500-$2k at most. This would include a used blower but you can always send it to vortech for a full rebuild to the tune of $300. Superchargersonline has all the brackets/hardware etc... besides the blower.
