Used cams....?

Could used cams be a good deal? If they were barely used or have low miles in a stang?
Going to be posting a lot of questions soon

What more info would you need? You inspect them and make sure the part numbers jive. I've run multiple used cams just fine in cars I've used. Yes you need a dyno tune, I mentioned that in another thread, they generally run $600 for a good custom tune.

Like tuning and what not and what kind of cams will run in my 98 2v. And I absolutely need a dyno tune?

Yes... you absolutely need a dyno tune or it'll run like ***. This is not a cheap hobby. Cams will need to be properly degreed by someone who knows what they are doing, you can't just line up dots (which you should not even do on a pushrod). And then a custom dyno tune or at the very least a mail order tune which will likely not be totally optimal.

I know people with cams that just have a SCT tune and they run fine. Although dyno tune should be your main goal in getting a tune.
