Depends on your definition of cheap. I spent $130 if I remember right on the dark smoked ones from AM. You could probably get a set on EBay for cheaper but I don't know much about the quality from those.

American Muscle has some Raxiom smoked halo headlights for 13's, I just want to know if they are legal in VA, cause if I get a ticket, or anything like that, bye bye stang for at least a month... Darn rules from parents...

I'm 17, I did pay about 18K, so about half of the price... Only reason I include that, is because I'm sick of hearing people say "look what his parents got him" yeah they helped, but I used most of my savings account funds... Well worth it.

A ticket for smoked lights would be a cheap $20
Fix it ticket, doesn't go on your record at all, you just need to fix/ change the part then get it signed off by a police officer/ official.

Then why do so many companies make them, eleven if it's only a fix it ticket, and btw, my parents would still think"ticket" car gone...

Whose name is the car in? Since fix it tickets don't go on your record at all they would never have to find out.

Car title is in my dad's name. But we do have the same first and last name, and middle initial.

Damn, you just might be able to pull it off... Besides Ive only ever heard of like 2 people getting warnings for tinted tails or headlights on here. Cops don't really care about it.

Cops may not, but my parents will if 1 cop does... Not to mention, VA is crazy about laws not allowing a lot of mods on cars

Bro, I live in California lol. As of right now a cop could site me for:

1. No front plate
2. Tinted tails
3. Tinted Headlights
4. No catalytic converters.

And hopefully next summer it will include:

5. Illegal engine modification (cams)
6. Window tint

The reason the cams wouldn't pass is because they aren't CARB leal cams, even though my emissions will be fine. It's always the visual that fails everyone.

My friend knows the smog referee of our area, so he gets all the ones that most shops don't know what to do with.

Once he got a C6 Z06, fully built engine, straight pipes, and twin turbos... Everything about it was illegal according to the smog laws..... It put out less emissions than a hybrid, and that's and understatement. It's emissions were almost nonexistent.

My friends should have been getting tickets for, illegal window tint, smoked headlights, and( the one I will be buying) aftermarket exhaust.

Don't drive like a dick and they probably won't care. I've never been pulled over at all in my life.

I think I will be one of like 6 ppl in NJ when my medical exemption card for front window tint comes through. Still only 70% on the windshield and 60% on the fronts (anything I want on the sides/back) but its better than nothing and it'll pass inspection every time AND I live literally 3 minutes from one of the best tint places in the state. Pricey but they use only 3M tint that won't turn purple or any of that garbage.

There is no such thing as a medical exemption for window tint in Cali.

Since the anti-car state of VA won't let me tint my windshield, I'm buying prescription Oakley sunglasses. Still gonna get the windows tinted

I had laser surgery and my eyes are legit sensitive to light so my optometrist fills out the MVC form, I mail it in and I get to put meh tint on the front and the windshield but at least its something.
