Engine rebuilt pics.

Ok guys , What do you think? too much or Too little?

This was just after dropping the motor back in.

I like it. Not a fan if the alternator but it's sure unique. If I bought a car that was done like that I probably wouldn't change it.

I love the idea of the alt being painted, I've been wanting to do mine lately. But that design just isn't quite what I had in mind. Very unique though

Don't like the alternator at all. VCs look pretty good though. I would look at a local powdercoater if you want it to last forever. Also, new hoses and fittings PLEASE lol.

Way ahead of you, got all new hoses for cooling and power steering. also got new clamps too.

I've been thinking about it on and off since I saw it and I haven't thought of anything yet. You may try a nice gloss black on the whole thing? It wouldn't be colorful but it would be way better than the ugly cast metal factory finish

Pull it off, pull it apart and have the alternator case blasted and powdercoated. Or polish it up to a mirror.

What kind of paint did you use? And did you prime it? I like it overall I wouldn't have painted the alternator though but that's just preference

Paint the alternator all black
Do vc all one color
Don't try to hard to be creative that's when stuff gets fugly just super clean with a small bit of accent color
