Houston motor swap

Have anyone in the houston area successfully done a mark 8 motor swap in their 99-04? If so please help me out or comment

Well if it counts for anything I have the mark teksid block in my GT. That's about all i sourced from the mark series though.

You just dropped it straight in? No fuel line work or anything?

Do you mean 4v swap? I just took the alum teksid block and used my rebuilt cammed 2v heads.

For the a whole 2v to 4v swap the above link is an excellent write up.

You'll need to customize your engine harness and fuel rail as well as a bunch if other things.
