CAI burp?

My cai is making like a burping sound, when you rev up the engine, when the rpms are dropping down you can hear it making a burp/blurring type noise that comes from the filter down in the fender wall and travels up and can be heard in the engine bay...popped off the filter, seemed clean, popped it back on and made sure it was extra tight, still making the noise ughhh, any ideas? SR cai btw.

Everything plugged in and pushed in all the way? I've not had any problems with mine.

Yes sir...I had this problem with my stock intake making this noise, when I upgraded to the SR cai the noise went away, a year later it's back, dk what to think of it, I can sometimes hear it when driving, but when at idle and give it a little rev up I absolutely hear it everytime

Maybe unmetered air getting into engine causing a kind of backfire?

It is somewhat common that the IAC wears and makes a honking sort of sound--read more about that here...
