seriously considering the 3.73 gears. Just gotta convince my wallet to splurge for it lol.. (I say splurge because I don't have a lot of money to being with so technically it is splurging to me)

Don't cheep out on gears. The actual parts are relatively inexpensive. However having a reputable shop put them in is not cheap. If your going to do gears, do your research on the shop that puts them in.
It's an art, some people are very good and some should not be doing it at all.

When I was around your age I had the same conundrum. I got 4.10's and haven't look back. The rpms aren't enough to be a big problem, and I daily drove it for 5 years around 70 miles a day with an average of 21 mpg. If you can splurge for them I would. But i dont think you would be disappointed with 3.73's either.
