2002 mustang wheels question

I have my o2 wit stock 17inch wheels i wana buy the 2009s gt500s 18s i was wondering if iam going to need spacers rear tires are 285s 45s n also iam lowering my car 2" does it make a difference? Thank u

The offset is further in. you will need spacers for it to look halfway normal.

The stock wheels are already sunken in on the 99-04, and we have the widest axles between all the Mustangs ever produced. The 09 GT500 wheels will be even more sunk in than stock, you will definitely want spacers to look decent.

My buddy has that same setup on his 03, just got off the phone with him, said he has no spacers, buts said it does look like crap lol

They will "fit", but won't look right lol

Careful of spacers, sometimes they won't leave you with enough stud to screw on the lugs. Get some top of the line hubcentric spacers if thats the route you are going.
