I can't find a picture of that hood on a 99-04 body style anywhere. Your car looks good though man. I had a 97 just like that for my first car, loved it and miss it now lol.

Just noticed that. Good call. It does say it's for a 99-04... But yea WTH would they picture it on a 94-98.

I have seen these hoods on new edges quite often at car shows.

Yea see what I mean. The one pic I've seen of it on a 99-04 is the on I posted and you can't really get a good look at it. If its for a 99-04 the show it lol. If you find a pic of it on a 99-04 let me no haha. From what I see in the one I posted it looks good for what's shown. But I still need a little more convincing lol.

Don't blame ya! If I were going to drop that kind of cash I'd want to know for certain. I'll do some more digging. They are out there, like I said I've seen them in person.

Thanks man, ya I've seen that hood on 99-04 stangs before but never on any sites. You should look up mustang svo style hoods and hopefully you'll find something with pics. The 99-04 hoods on those sites should be for those years since the 94-98 probably wont fit, but I also agree that it makes no sense why they got 98 pic for it..

Find somebody that can photoshop the two hoods on your ride. It's your car man.
As long as your not choosing rice, your all good. Both your options are classic muscle so...

Octane Motorsports finally got back to me. Lol.

Hello,

Unfortunately, all images for that hood are on 94-98 Mustang and we do
not have images on a 99-04 models. The hood will be the exact same
style but made to fit 99-04 Mustang models. Thank you.

General Questions: Cobra Hood?

I am a little confused. I know sombody that is looking for a
99-04 Ford Mustang Cobra R SVO Heat Extraction Hood. I see you carry this
particular hood, however you show it installed on a 94-98 Mustang. Wondering
if you can clear this up for me. A picture of the hood on a "new edge" 99-04
would be helpful. Thanks
