Popping in rear end?

Just bought a 2000 GT that's got a crap load of mods, kid had no idea what he had. I've been workin for the last 2 was tryin to fix it all right, but problem is when I first take off I feel and hear a slight pop from the rear end, I know it's not the gears or axle, it's in the suspension or bushings just curious what I should check first and how to narrow it down? Thx

Could be a bad shock. One that goes on the axel to stabilize it.

Was this the plasti dipped one with the red painted rims that you practically stole? And yeah a popping in the rear I'd have to hear. If its just a light "clunk" then that's the good old "Mustang Clunk". Check the control arms first as was already stated. Likely the rubber bushings are gone or near gone and they need replaced.

Naw no plasti dipped on this pony sry lol
So far, roush 75mm throttle body, k&n cold air intake, long tube headers,X pipe with flow masters, coil over suspension in front, not sure bout rear,
But what's weird is they completely removed the cruise control box and cables and the spray bottle for the window washer?

Sounds like someone was routing some intercooler piping...
