Should i do it??

This guy really wants to buy my 03 gt with 91k miles and a it has some nice mods done to it. He's offering to give me 9k. If I were to sell it to him I'd go out and get a lightly used 2012 5.0 is this a good deal should I go through with it??

Personally speaking, I would but I haven't looked at fair market value for yours.

If you are ready for a moderately low monthly payment, then I say go for it. As Barney's number 1 rule says, "newer is always better!!!"

Sounds like a deal you should take. With that mileage around me you would be lucky to get $7500-8k. Especially with the mods depending on how in depth they are, most people I know want to buy their cars un-modded.

Please find me a nice, clean 01-04, less than 70k miles please?! lol!! I'll give you a finders fee, the better the car the larger the fee!!

But in MI they are worth more due to trying to find clean ones with this god forsaken weather here. So the values are higher, but that does sound steep even for here.

All it has done to it is
Cold air intake
Throttle body
Performance coils
Bama tune
4.10s
5speed
Long tubes h pipe slp
Touchscreen radio
Tinted windows
HIDS
Cobra bumper
Fr500s
I guess my question is would selling my 03 gt be worth it and upgrading to a 2012 5.0

If you are ready for the monthly payments/insurance of a 5.0 and can get a good interest rate then go for it. If you're looking at some crazy high interest rate because of credit/lack of credit history or your bank sucks then I dunno.

$9k is a good deal but make sure he's serious and make sure its cash. There is something to be said for no car payment though.

I'd sell it but if you do decide to keep it get rid of those "performance coils" and put OEM ones back on. Aftermarket coils are all vastly inferior to OEM.

If you're not too attached, and can afford the costs associated with a new Stang, sell it sell it sell it!

I'd keep your car - low miles, nice mods and no payment. No brainer to me. If you really want the 5.0, continue to save and buy the car. Sell the 03 after you buy the new one and put the cash right back into savings.

My thing is that I just keep spending money on a almost 11 year mustang don't get me wrong I live the new edge body style and great car but I feel that if I'm going to keep dumping money into a car it should be something newer like the 5.0

And honestly tossing it into a NA bolt on 2v you would be better off spending it on new 5.0

That's pretty much how I feel because I've pretty much done all bolt ons for it and its still not that fast compared to a 5.0 with full bolt ons and not to mention I have a 2v with 4.10s and the 5.0s are a 4v and I think a 3.55 gear so that means more power and better gas mileage
