I'd have to agree.. You are going 5 years older but with slightly lower mileage. Sell yours and put some extra cash down for some new rims

I'd rather have the 95. That ones more expensive with more issues and has been nodded... I'd rather have the clean slate 5.0

Shouldn't make much of a difference.. All depends on your driving habits.

Why go from your GT to an older similar miles car? I mean I get that it has the "Cobra" distinction but the power output isn't much different. And it's an older body style.

Unless you like that body style, I guess. I just don't understand the change.

And with a price tag of 3900 you can probably get it for a little less when you start spewing mustang info from this forum. Why not keep your GT and just outright but the Cobra?

Have had both, would keep what you have. You already have a known quantity in your car. You also NEED to have the 95 tuned to get rid of the tip in timing ****** and completely redo the fuel tables or it'll be a dog.

I mean go take a look at it. If its much nicer inside and body wise then maybe go for it but you need to drop probably $1500-$2k into it to REALLY make it shine.

I'd just build up the 2v or swap a cobra motor into it

Everyone says that but seldom does anyone act on it. That's not realistic for the OP's budget if e has to sell his 2000GT for a 95Cobra that costs less than an entry level supercharger kit.

No offense meant at all. A budget is a budget though.

I just wouldn't buy the Cobra. But I'd probably try to get into a lower mile 2002-2004 GT. Won't be a huge price change.

Take your time. Don't rush. The 95 cobra will be dog *** slow. Never buy a car that has a **** ton of miles on it without the mindset of rebuilding it or fixing problems.

I wish I could find a new edge gt around here for 3k. Even sn95's are 3.5k+ around here. You won't be finding a cobra for under 6k either. Good luck with whatever route you go with bro. Don't rush into one car

What about your vert do you hate so much? I think your car looks pretty sweet. The black on red is one of my favorites.
