Bought an 01. How to tell if its tuned

Bought a 2001 with cai, plenum, throttle body and flomaster exhaust. What are the chances it's got a tune? The original owner doesn't know. I guess, How could I tell if it's tuned or not!

Unless they gave you a handheld tuner I would guess it hasn't been tuned, or returned to stock. I would probably just get an SCT tuner. Just in case you want to add some mods, you will be able to tune it properly for them.

Shorty shifter, gears, etc....good guide here for bolt ons.

Even just the handheld tuner will help over the stock tune.

Lots can be done to make your car quicker, but the first thing I usually address is handling. Springs and camber blots/plates plus shock/struts and upgraded bake pads. The list is endless.

Put it this way. For every part on your car, there's an upgrade for that

+1000 SCT Tuner and 3.73 or 4.10s. You will def notice difference, plus the tuner will get all your current mods in line.
