im assuming your talking about the SR Performance TB spacer is has on the recommended buy thing? it increases the volume of your intake manifold. more air=more fuel=more power and better mpg if your lucky. and it makes a whistling sound. its cool if you like it but annoying if you dont.

Just drive faster and your car will suck up more air instead

And it's a complete waste of money because it doesn't actually do anything but look pretty.

^ pretty much true. mine pulls just a bit harder at higher speeds, but not enough to justify spending money on.

The SR Performance TB Spacer is a very effect mod for the $40 cost (Before your 6% forums discount). This TB Spacer for your 2V GT Mustang is a quick and cheap bolt-on that will improve the quality of the air into your engine. By helping to better separate your throttle body from engine heat and increasing the volume of the plenum, we've constantly seen gains of 2-7 dyno proven rear wheel horse power.

In my opinion all power helps and it definitely adds up! Not to mention, it looks great under the hood as well. I ran a Throttle Body and Intake Manifold spacer on my 2004 Mach 1 and definitely noticed a difference. They're not going to be HUGE gains, but power to dollar ratio is on par with just about every bolt on!

Hope this helps!

-Dan

I agree every little thing counts. I ran some times without my spacer and some with it and I ran a better time it was like .06 or something really small but hey that's half a .1. and a .1 is a lot for bracket racing.. It's worth it. A little weight reduction and weight transfer you got over .1 of a second off in the 1000 foot which is even a bigger gain in the 1/4

Hahah sorry I'm all about numbers and times here.. I do my math with every mod I invested..

I even have a note book with every mod I did and the increase I saw in my times at the track with each mod..

Best plenum and tb for your money out there ! I had one on my 4.6 and it was great. Easy install, looks sick and definitely showed some gains. More so after the cams, port polish job and tune.
