No it's not his car. He has a project New Edge and apparently doesn't know the difference between a 4.6 and 5.0

I saw this thread literally a minute after he posted it and was hoping it would be ignored and fade into the ether of the interwebs. I see my faith was misplaced...

Also seems like a troll to me.

HAHA, wow...
Yeah, the OP needs to actually know basic things like engines, what cars have what in them, etc, he obviously does not.

If you are referring to me, I definitely know the basics.
But your opinion is your opinion,

I'm leaving the thread before it gets de-railed, and possibly closed.

Jesus... He meant a PLENUM. He's going to need a new plenum to see more gains out of that throttle body. 90 is a little big. I remember reading a lot of some dyno tested plenum and tb's in both NA and FI situations and the best results were 70-75mm for NA (includes cammed situations) and 80-90 for FI. I'm trying remember what book this was in, but I've long since lost it. It was really handy when camming my 4.6

Oh and that fool couldn't tell a throttle body from an intake manifold lol

Easy. I throw car parts on the ground and then you stand there looking foolish. I don't care either way, this is a tech section. Unless you have something valuable to say regarding to the topic, then please stay out. There are enough topics in the bar to chit chat about.

And op... Have you looked on trick flows website ? I recall them making a plenum to fit a large throttle body. Honestly, I think your best course of action would be to buy a single piece unit. Accufab makes an awesome plenum throttle body kit. I'm not sure what size it goes up to, but if you're not going supercharged, you'll see better gains in the 75mm. There is such a thing as too big lol

doesn't make that point any less valid. Either way, I didn't see anything about that when I was sifting through this. Thought I'd help is all. I've installed a few tb's on0 a new edge. Anywho....

Well it's not an 03/04 blower...

but that blower itself is universal, just not the entire kit.

Yee yee it's what I meant. I've always kinda wanted to find a wrecked cobra and take the supercharger off and all the parts to it to make it work on my 2v and bolt it on.. I love supercharger whines..

Yep, and you can get take off Cobra M112s for $200-$300 all day. The rest of the stuff on the Cobra is honestly only good if you get the whole motor/fuel system/harness etc... best bet is to buy a running wrecked Terminator and swap EVERYTHING like wldtang did on his 94.
