Need help

So guys the deal fell through on my car so I'm just going to build it up. I want to know if the vortech v3 tuner kit intercooled full kit brand new for 3k is a good price and anything else I will need for the kit and what type of numbers should I be having? http://cdn2.bigcommerce.com/server46....1280.1280.jpg

Usually with a tuner kit you need a tune and fuel upgrades and a few other things that aren't a necessity but are nice to have. You'll want to tow it to get custom tuned since you wont be given a base tune.

You should be able to get there easily.
Just upgrade your maf, fuel system, tune from a good tuner. You should have a reliable fast setup in the 400-450 range if intercooled too.

Where are you buying it from? Sounds like every other v3 kit. Im considering the v3 kit from am paired with cxracing intercooler or just a procharger kit. Probably want to upgrade that bov/bpv though. That one is cheap and surges. Everything else in the cxracing kit is usually good

Im looking at AM's vortech kit and just pairing it with a cxracing kit. Maybe with the tial Q bov made for supercharger applications.
But their kit comes with injectors and a pump I believe as well as a tune but Im still getting custom tuned so the tune part is nbd.

It's all brand new and comes with the cxracing kit?
It'd be best to upgrade your fuel pump too.

I think your pulleys will have to go back to stock too btw or it wont get the proper psi.

Im not 100% but think has to do with the pullies for the supercharger not matching. But either way Ive read to swap back to stock many places before so I would just play it safe and do that. I never did a pulley swap just for that reason though. If you want a more clear or accurate answer theres some on google for other forums or this one for sure somewhere.

You'll be at 5psi without a built short block

Yeah he was playing with fire, I wont be. But we have a fantastic tuner in our area. Often people cross country have shipped to be tuned here from what Ive read on other forums.
