What type of oil

I have a 03 cobra vert i just recently bought. Do i need to run synthetic or just regular oil. Its not a Daily driver. I just maybe drive it once a week to work and on the weekends?

You'll get mixed opinions, just go synthetic

I agree to the below post however if you dont mind ordering I would recommend Amsoil or Brad Penn. Just stay away from Fram filters.

+1 there's really nothing you cannot find on this and other forums. Only reason to ask is pure laziness

I found a leftover tube of something called "Astroglide" in my wife's nightstand and a bunch of dead AA batteries. No idea but it seems to make my car run smoother.

Hilarious!!
I use only Royal Purple HPS 5w-30 and Royal purple 20-820 synthetic filters. I only change my oil 2 times a year.

Lol in all seriousness, all oil has to meet certain standards and if you change every 3k with a good filter you can use anything and be totally fine.

I use Motorcraft and Motorcraft filters unless someone is having a sale on something else and change every 5k with 0 issues. Unless you are running it up to 7-8k RPM, no need for anything else. If I was revving it that high I might spend the money for Amsoil. If you are going to buy a crazy *** pants ****tingly over the top oil Amsoil is your way to total overkill.
