I think the 4 inch looks better on the 05-09 and up models, I just always liked the look of the 4 but I don't want anything too big so I may go with a 3 inch

If Cervinis makes one that's who I would go through. I have had 4 different hoods from them and each was great quality. Second place for me is a tie between trufiber and Harwood.

Id say for new latemodel or AmericanMuscle. But id check the classifieds first. Corral.net is where I found that monstorous hood, and my current 2K cobra R hood.

2.5.. its only for heat extraction..if you get 3 or bigger might as well put a ridiculous sized wing and a pair of fart cannons on it.. just saying lol thats just my opinion...

Yes if there's no other reason besides looks then 1/2 makes it just like the tuners. Thats like putting a cowl on a vw beetle lol

And I agree sometimes you need the room then thats fine.. I had an iroc with a 6 inch cowl (tunnel ram)... right turns sucked lol and left lane at the track lol

Well both of these are mine. The yellow one my old car the black one my new car. Neither of them needed more clearance and both had 3 inch cowls. They both got more compliments and place at shows then I could ever have wished. I say go big if you like big and go small if you like small.

"3" cowl hood 2004 mustang gt" on google got quite a mixed result, with foxes and s197 platforms in there so pay them no mind lol

and in case they're outta sequence, first two are 3", third is 4", last one is 2.5"

If you go to the H.O. Fibertrends website and click on their 2.5" hood they have a few pictures of different cars to get an idea of it.
