Weird idle

Started noticing my idle gets weird whenever I have the heat/defrost on

If you start the car it idles just fine, though sometimes even without it on it'll act funny and go from about 600 - normal idle speed and keep dropping back and forth until I drive it

When you turn the heat on it'll drop and almost cut off but then jumps back up to normal idle speed and does fine after that

Something to do with IAC maybe?

Could be iac. iac is super easy to rule out by cleaning it. It takes 10 min with 5 of those min being the drying time after you clean it lol

Yep. Sounds like the IAC. They are usually worn out by the time that they are dirty enough that they need to be cleaned.

A hundred dollar bill.
Or carb cleaner if you don't want to replace it.
