Does your anti-theft light flash when the car is parked?

I had not noticed this until Friday when my car would not start. I had to get a jump.

Yes. Parked overnight. Or parked fir just a few hours. I don't know, maybe it flashes as soon as I exit the car.

Should flash as soon as you remove the key

Ok. It turns out my root problem was the wire going to the negative side battery terminal was loose and rusty.

Easy fix.
