Cracked front bumper

I have an 01 gt. I bumped into an embankment (thanks black ice) nailed the front bumper. I didn't hit to hard but hard enough to mess up the bottom and cause it to crack in drivers side horizontally where the fender and bumper meet. Do you think the repair could be made with just a new bumper and some paint? Or could there be Internal damage too? I maybe was going 5-10 mph upon impact. Thanks in advance.

Most likely its just the bumper cover. You can pull it off easy enough and just check but I doubt you banged anything up going that slow. The good news is that new edge bumper covers are cheap. The bad news is paint is not.

Agreed on paint being a pain in the ***. I've had people bump into me and have to get part of my bumper painted again. Luckily their insurance paid for it.

If you are that concerned about internal damage look at the radiator for any cracks or leaks. Seems like a reasonable check thing no?

I bought a prepainted bumper cover from ebay. Seems like I paid about $250 for it shipped. Looks really good and is very simple to replace. Good luck!

Search the auto parts section for prepainted front bumper after entering your model information. There will be a few that come up, I used the vendor with the highest rating. Good luck!
