Losing water

I keep putting water in my 1997 GT. When I'm idle the temperature gage moves up to hot but when I'm driving it goes back down again. I have already replaced the radiator. What else could be going on?

Sounds like it might be the radiator fan. Mine did the same thing when my fan was bad.

Well think about it first .

When you sit it's just the fan cooling the system,
When you drive air is getting vented through the radiator to help cool it even more,

How's the fan?
Is your thermostat kicking in?
What's the condition of fluid ?

When you replaced the radiator did you bleed the air out correctly?
