Belt length for vortech gt with 3.33 pulley - Mustang Evolution

Belt length for vortech gt with 3.33 pulley

Putting a vortech on my car and it didn't come with a drive belt car has all accessories and factory size pulleys what length belt should I be getting I have heard 106.5 and then I have read that 107 is to short for a smaller pulley and all kinds of mixed info anybody have an idea?

Don't quote me on this but I thought you could just take a piece of line and run it like the belt would run.. Then measure that line? It'll get you pretty dang close to the correct measurement.

I've never done this, however..

I will be trying that but I don't want to guess on how much the tensioner is gonna take out of that

I would contact vortech and give them the engine and the kit you're using and they should be able to tell you which belt.

Calling would be easiest. ..

But you could try and check the instructions on thier website for your kit. The first or second page will have a list of all parts in the kit (and they should come with the 3.33 pulley but double check). The belt should be there and then look up the part number to get the size.

If all else fails try the 107 and if its too short or too long youll know how much and just take it back for the right one... May take more then one try lol

Went with a dayco 106.5 if it doesn't work with the 3.33 I guess that I will have to use the 2.8 or the 2.3 hopefully it doesn't come
