P1450 Code

Check engine light popped up driving home.. at a quarter tank and haven't gotten gas recently. I searched for an answer but It seemed to be a mystery why this happens - but it's common. Even if I left this unattended, would it hurt my car?

A quick look at the car looks like the top of the drain hose might be pinched a little. It's not pinched completely off, but looks a bit bent in. Not sure if this is normal, or what may be causing this code.

I have seen all of that, but like I said, doesn't have a clear answer. I guess it's not a big problem right? Just the environmental hippies won't like me? Lol

When codes pop up it's not usually a specific thing anyways you still have to play the guessing game most times lol. But good luck !

Alright. I have decide I am going to try and blow out everything to try and get rid of the p1450 code. Do I need to release the gas tank and take it off to reach the solenoid or filler tube? I read there is a filter that can get clogged and will make the car throw that 1450 code. Blowing it all out can fix it.

Is it hard getting to all of that junk?

Don't you have to get rid of it to pass inspection? But it won't hurt anything? I just hate playing the guessing game :\

Damn.. We don't have emissions here in some towns of Texas, but we do have a 15$ inspection.

If there's any other state I would live in, it would be Texas. But I'm not a fan of insection laws. My Fox would be fine, but my New edge has an all o/r exhaust and I wouldn't want to be swaping out longtubes and a catless midpipe every time lol

None of that is checked without emissions. My 6 had the cats cut. It would pass inspection but not emissions. Only in the big cities are emissions done it seems
