Hey Guys. Its winter here in Canada and I am not sure if its because of the cold but lately " sometimes" my coolant light will come on and other times doesn't. Well it came on again last night so today I checked the level and it was a bit low. I added coolant to the cold line and light hasn't came on since. However I checked the level just a little while ago with the car off and its way past the cold line.. Its rite at the cap. wtf any ideas where to go from here....

As in it's quite full? It is the overflow tank so when the engine heats up the extra coolant gets pushed back into the tank.

Sold - Black 2000 Mustang GT, gone but definitely not forgotten
- Silver 2007 Corvette
Current - DHG 2001 Bullitt

The coolant expands and contracts as it heats up and cools down. Fill it to the proper level with the engine completely cold.

I had the same problem with mine. The little floaty for the sensor wouldnt float so it thought it was low. I did a flush and replaced it with 60/40 mix cuz it gets very cold here in alberta and light went away. Maybe wouldnt hurt to check what its mixed at because if theres too much water it wont float properly.
