Oh ok but like what's the difference with buying the resonators and welding it to my stock catback? Just the stainless steel right but sound is the same right?
Oh I see. ok your stock exhaust piping (mid pipe, and catback) is 1.5 or 2inch thick I forgot which it is.. But all aftermarket catback and mid pipes are 2.5 inches thick so it'll sound more open up, more loud, idk if you'll be too happy with just the resonators on a stock catback. I never heard anybody doing that.
Mine isn't dumped like that. My resonators are welded to a flange to bolt on to the mid pipe, and I have 2.5 piping flaring downward and kinda outward to the tires.
I got the whole catback. For one your old exhaust is probably welded in and you get nice tips. Dumping it will not make it raspy whatsoever it will sound like a foxbody almost putting the pipes on after the muffler is really loud
