450whp is about the max you wanna push these bottom ends. After that you'll want to start upgrading your rods and pistons at least, the cranks are good for mid to high 500whp

450 is when upgrading the internals should be on your mind all day and when sleeping. I personally wouldn't go past 420 on stock internals.

DSS Racing, MMR, all sorts of companies make kits it just depends on what you're looking for. As for the rear end it depends on what you plan to do with the car

That's a start. The stock crank will need upgrading plus machining the block before installation.

Don't forget getting the rotating assembly balanced. Expect a machine shop bill around $1500 for that. Another $500 for assembly.

Stock heads will be your next limit. $4500 heads plus $3000 in cams/retainers/chains.

Add another $650 for removal and install of motor plus $350 for dyno time and tuning.

The thing is you can do it cheap now but eventually you'll have to pony up the money. We haven't even gotten into fuel system, trans, rear or suspension.

Fuel system? With a conservative tune it should be ok for a little while but it will blow. Just part of the game.

Low are you sure you're talking about 2v cams? 3k for all that? Maybe 2k after parts and install

---------- Post added at 12:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:10 AM ----------

A shop here installed 4v cams 2k after all parts and install so I find It hard to believe 3k for 2v cams
