Transmission clunking sound

Hey folks,

since a couple of weeks i noticed a clunking kinda sound. It sound like it might be the transmission or the drivetrain. It happens sometimes when i press in the clutch or when the car kinda jumps( for example when i pull into my drive way)

i have a 2002 mustang gt manual with about 130k miles on it.

thanks in advance

If it comes from the rear its the gears. Improperly installed or just wearing over time will give you the infamous "mustang clunk". Could also be a UCA or LCA bushing, broken spring, all sorts of stuff that can be bad. Check your u joints too.

Go under the car and start yanking on the DS. If you get some play they are bad.
