I like buying "new parts". The Used parts I got were mostly from there too. Showing A.M. support!!))

Typically, by the time that it is dirty enough to need cleaning... It's worn out and needs replacing.

My friends daughter used to work at Auto zone and the employees constantly swapped friends bad electrical parts for new ones and then put the box back on the shelf to be sold.

Me too.
I'm one of those guys who never takes the first box on the front of the shelf at stores like Best Buy or Home Depot but digs to back to find a different box.

It's sad

My rule is, open the box at the counter and make sure whatever is in it hasn't been tampered with. It's not fool proof but has saved me a trip back in the past.
