Yeah. I think that cliffyk squeezed about every last horsepower out of his car. He has the "Beginners guide to bolt-ons" sticky at the top of this page.
Check it out...

I don't think Cliffy was at "Full Bolt ons", but he definitely got every single HP out of his with his mods. He got his to around 300 FWHP with pretty minimal mods and a good tune.

About 15% with a manual transmission, 18 to 20% with a slush box.

"Full bolt-ons" is a nebulous expression, turbos and supercharger's "bolt on".

But getting back to what are normally considered "bolt-ons" the only thing I was missing, that would have made any real difference, was a set of long tubes...

Yeah I regret not putting long tubes. Idk why I installed bbk short tuned headers. Made it sound better but didn't really feel any difference

I have a 99 GT convertible with all BBK products. Side fender well cold air intake with a 78 mm throttlebody. Ceramic coated long tube headers into an O/R X-pipe. Underdrive pulleys and a 3.73 gear. The on the dyno the car made 266 rear wheel H/P and 298 RWTQ. It was an extremely hot and humid day this was done. I'm having Crower cams put in it in just a couple weeks. I'm hoping to much better numbers with the cooler weather here in Michigan for the base run before the cams are installed. It should be at 300 RWHP. That's about what people are getting with this combo. The cams will be done at Alternative Auto in Chesterfield Michigan as well as the new tune! The car is so much more fun to drive even the way it is now, much lighter on it's feet. I forgot to mention the exhaust goes out to a FloMaster three chamber
system. Hope this helps somebody!! You can visit the website for more info alternativeauto.com
