Great come up

Well I found on Craigslist a practically be Accufab 75mm TB/Plenum combo, diablo tuner that's unmarried or whatever, SR intake and rear brakes all for only $250! Got everything installed and it's a DIFFERENCE haha my question is, I installed the "Diablo tune" I'm assuming that's the 93 octane tune. Is it ok to run 91 octane because I always run 91 but here in California I can't get 93.

Wow you found a killer deal! What a steal!

If the tunes were written for these mods on 93octane, you're not going to want to run 91. Otherwise there's a very good chance you'll experience detonation from too much ignition timing. However, if you don't want to pay for another tune, you could always add a little octane booster to each tank of gas. That will easily bump your 91octane to 93 or higher.

Just remember, the octane booster will eventually cover the cost of a new tune. So, you may better off just purchasing a tune from the beginning!

Shane

The guy was originally was just selling the plenum and SR CAI and when I talked to him he asked if I wanted a tuner too, asked how much and he said free! Jammed down there as soon as I could haha
Love the difference it made too, I noticed the throttle response was way better
