Need F.I. info. 96 GT with PI swap

I'd like advice from a M.E. member who installed a blower on thier 96-98 GT PI swapped. I've only read about what Mustang owners will have to do. But it's all hear-say to me. A finished project would be great especially to avoid the "trial on error".

My mods are FRPP PI assembled heads, PI intake, stock exhaust manifolds, 2.5" X-pype, C.A.I. , 4.10's and BAMA Eliminator Chip. I just got a BBK 78mm TB. (didn't install it yet). Any knowledge will be greatly appreciated

Just throwing this out there, is your compression bump with the pi heads a concern

I've read a lot of threads about blowers that can handle the high (for F.I.) compression. I just need to know the set up.

OK. So I'm totally talking to myself here. LOL... After hours of research, I found out that Centrifugal SC's with the water/methanol injector (along with other safety precautions) I can run 6-8 lbs of boost. This should give me 350hp safely. By performing all the work myself, I still don't have alot of $$$ into my Stang I found complete SC set ups slightly used in the $1,500 price range.

See im interested in this as well now but not only for sc but also turbo setups since pi swap puts it at roughly 10.54:1 very interested in what boost adders we can run either safely and forging bottom end as well

Forged crank and pistons would solve the "ticking time bomb" problem. Plus, never let the water/methanol tank run dry. Intercoolers and SC cams prevent detonation too. Spark plugs gapped at .35 . New pistons will lower the compression too. I read that thicker head gaskets lower compression too. But I wouldn't do that with new pistons. Once all this is built to the right specs, BOOST AWAY

100 shot of nitrous should give us at least another 1-1.5 seconds in the 1/4. Suspension and traction to improve 60/ft times could give us another .3 to .4 seconds A proper set up and tune would easily put our 281's in the 12's..
