Eibach Pro System

I ordered this kit off amazon.com for $570, on the eibach site it's over $900. It's the pro shocks n struts and pro lowering springs kit. It just arrived today (doing my happy dance), lmao. Any ways, gonna be putting them on tomorrow, does any one have any helpful tips or opinions?Click image for larger version

It would be best for you to do them at the same time. Cuz with new components like these that requires an alignment. And to get the alignment to factory specs you need cc plates, otherwise it will be off and if u drive ur stang often it will shred your tires in no time. This is coming from a guy that learned this the hard way and shredded two brand new tires.

Well got everything on this past weekend, wanted to drive it a couple of days b4 I posted again. The truth is, I love the set up! I see what u mean about it being a stiffer ride, but I'm willing to sacrifice a lil ride comfort over increased handling capabilities. Handles like its on rails now, I do recommend this kit if your going to be doing any engine upgrade. It actually had eibach Sportlines on the car, so I put the Sportlines on craigslist for $25 a piece.Click image for larger version

Yes I did all the work myself, with the help of a friend. Neither one of us has done any suspension work before, but have been around cars all my life. That being said it still took us a lil over a day n a half lol.

Started with the passenger front, that was a learning curve. The driver side front then was a breeze. Same with the rear. If I had to do it again, yes it would only take about 4 hours, lmao.

So wait... You had sport lines and went to the pro kit? Err... And it handles better? It should have been lower and stiffer on the sport lines...

Yeah, it was a lil lower with the Sportlines on their, but it was bottoming out every where I went got some rough roads around here in S.C. They must have been on the car a long time, cause they seemed to be worn out. It is stiffer now than b4, know I did have some strut n shock issues. It had Gabriel Hijacker shocks on the back, rear right was siezed in the down position, they had an air line running off of each of them to a valve stem between the bumper n gas tank.

I got the kit with the struts, shocks, springs only. But next and final suspension update parts will be the eibach f+r sway bars and the BBK rear upper n lower control arms.

make sure you research the upper control arms before u buy them.
When I got my lowers, a lot of people had comments of why not to do
uppers. It was a while back so I kinda forget.. something about binding up
or the different types.. I will think about it more and let you know.

My alignment was already out from doing the struts n springs. The sbs kit in its shortest setting is virtually the same as the stock tie rod end that it replaces. I can't guarantee that it won't or will for that matter. My tire lean isn't any worse than it was tho. Can take a reference pic if needed.

Hey, I am thinking about buying this kit.. well..The full kit with the front and rear sway bars.
How much of a drop did you get? any pro's or con's to this suspension?..
I was going to piece together some stuff but figure eibach is one of the leaders in suspension and I am sure there kit is pieced together to work optimally.
I assume I will need to get cc plates and did you buy the bumpsteer kit optional or do you find it really helps the ride?

If u still have a stock setup it will drop 1.0 inch in the front n 1.2 inch in the rear. Pros, improved handling n Cons, I don't have any.

I chose the bump steer kit cause I had heard good things about it. After I installed it, the steering wheel has no turning movement while hitting bumps now. I recommend it.

You will need cc plates, best to do these at the same time as the eibach setup if possible.

I found that using the steeda x2 ball joints with this setup I achieved another 1/2 inch drop in the front, while not using the supplied spacers for a more aggressive look.
