looking from ideas on price

howdy ya'll new to this forum. im apart of a couple others and looking to see how the different forums and guys and gals price my car. I have a 2000 gt lightly modded looking to sell and get a 2013 5.0. Here are the details.

2000 mustang gt. 124k miles. I'm the 3rd owner the 1st 2 owners put 54k miles on the car. and did now mods just routine up-keep. I've owner the stang for 3 years and put the following 70k miles on the car as my daily all highway to and from work. the mods are as followed.

less than 1000miles on --
ford racing alum cross over intake
accel cop
stewart hipo water pump
new radiator and hose ( not really mod but they are brand new)
glow shift gauges and pod (water temp, oil pressure, vacuum)
rear end rebuild 3.73 gears and carbon clutch pads
new windshield

less than 5000 miles --
exedy 350 clutch kit
new clutch cable
ford racing alum quad and adjuster with MM clutch pedal adjuster
new u-joints
ford transmission crossmember
cobra from brake upgrade 13"
stainless steal hoses all 4 corners
sct 4bank chip custom tune made 266hp 305tq to the wheels
poly engine mounts
pa starter
new tires

other mods done thur the years
bassani catted x-pipe 2.5" stainless
slp loudmouth catt back 2.5" stainless
tri-ax shifter
mach 1 chin spoiler and grille.
2003 headlights
14 short antenna

factory options.
mach 460 sound system ( cd player does what they all do no eject the cd randomly)
leather interior no rips or tears 9/10
tropic green paint 7/10 its been repainted at some time and it was a daily so not perfect but still looks good

only thing i haven't touched was the suspension is the suspension. I was planning a full autocross suspension all MM parts but things have changed and looking into a new 2013 Gt. the suspension is still in good condition but 124k miles it could use shocks at the min some day

Ive been told 7000-6500 would be fair price right now is that what yall think would be in the ball park?

5.5-7k... Throw the mods out the door because they bring no value. It can actually scare people off (they think it's abused)... I would say closer to 5.5 than 7 because it's Forrest green which isn't a "hot color".. Pretty car too bad you're parting with it. I got my black 03 stock (which is better resale value) for 7.5k with 116k, and that's from a dealer. Yours is a 00 so that a little bit older and if they know anything about stangs then they will know it doesn't have the "upgrades" that the 01-04's have.

So yes, that's in the ballpark. Good luck!

thanks ill try 6500 and see what happens from there. I do love the car learned alot about these years but ive learned alot about how much work needs to be done to make them handle and im more of a twistys guy. i have a 72 maverick and she does well enough in a straight line to scare me and fill that go fast spot. but the money to put in to my stang to make it handle even close to a new 13 i cant see spending the money anymore. and not to even start on the new coyote. thanks

It's a good time to sell also. Tax refund and spring us here soon. Coyote will be amazing but clinche your butt for the payments lol

Personally I'd wait for the 15 to see how it is. Normal production starts in April.. Not sure if it changed for the 15 though.

yea payments will be fine for me did out the math. I would love a new 15 but cant offord that nor do i want to own the 1st year maybe a '18 or '19 once all the kinks are worked out. from what ive been reading the '13s and 14's are solid random cases of problems but nothing wide spread swap out the shifter and upgrade the shocks and springs and ill be happy from what it sounds like i need to get in on thou and make sure i like them.

Ah, I was thinking you was Gna get a brand new coyote. A 13 would be awesome. Coming from a 14 year old car.. You won't even want newer springs and stuff because you will think your in a Bugatti lol! I have heard a lot about the newer transmission being a ***** though lol.

yea yea ive talked to alot of people and the 6speed trans issues in the 11s and 12s have issues but the 13s and 14s seem to have them fixed and get a shifter that will fix the 2-3. I think that it got blown way out of proportion with the internet and forums. seems on every car doesnt matter what car it is, every little problem gets blown up that every car will have the same problem. Ive talked to bunch of guys who have 12s and 13s with 20-30k miles and never had one issue with there transmissions and beat on them daily.

A lot of people it doesn't bother them. I test drove a 11 and it was great. These are forums for the fanatics and mustang enthusiast, so we are going to hear what's wrong with the cars. We are so infatuated with our cars that we notice everything wrong lll
